AJ describes himself as friendly, honest, and determined. He enjoys watching films and TV shows, including F1 the Movie, Suits, The Flash, and several Korean shows. In school, his favorite class is film, where he enjoys being hands-on with shots and scenes and focusing on the details behind the camera. AJ especially likes the fluidity of working on set and executing shots within a limited time. He is a freelance photographer who takes photos for a wide range of occasions, most recently serving as the photographer for an event at Bryant Park. AJ also enjoys exploring the city with his camera and discovering unexpected events along the way. In addition to his creative interests, AJ is an athlete who has played football and volleyball, currently plays club volleyball with Legacy Volleyball Club, and hopes to join the PSAL team. He also enjoys cooking! AJ sees himself as talkative, emotionally open, and someone who builds close relationships easily. He joined GCSA after being referred by his guidance counselor, hoping to receive support with college planning, strengthen his current work, and work toward earning a scholarship through his grades, creativity, and precision.
