Meet your mentee, Beheshta.

Beheshta describes herself as friendly, honest, and caring. She grew up in Queens and speaks Farsi at home. She loves soccer and follows FC Barcelona, and she played on her school’s basketball team in 7th and 8th grade. Science is her favorite subject because it feels intuitive and engaging, and she also finds history interesting. Outside of school, she enjoys being active, spending time with friends, and being outdoors—even in cold weather. She’s excited to be on the design track and wants to explore architecture and possibly real estate development in the future. She sees herself as someone who builds relationships easily, handles stress well, and likes to debate, dream big, and create with her hands. She joined GCSA because the program sounded interesting, and she’s hoping for a mentor who communicates easily, understands her goals, and can offer helpful guidance.

There are many natural connections between you and Beheshta. You both value curiosity, creativity, and meaningful relationships. Her interest in exploring architecture ties well to your experience shaping global brands and working across creative, strategic environments. She will connect strongly with your belief that everyone has something unique to contribute and your commitment to uplifting the next generation. Beheshta appreciates mentors who are easy to talk to and supportive under pressure—qualities reflected in your calm communication style, your comfort discussing emotions, and your experience working with youth. She will benefit from your positive energy, your guidance, and your passion for helping young people grow with confidence.
