Calvin describes himself as smart, kind, observant, and responsible. He grew up in Brooklyn and loves anything active—basketball, soccer, going to the gym, and working out with his school’s gym club twice a week. His favorite things to do for fun are playing basketball, video games, and reading. In school, he enjoys Geometry and English, and he’s currently taking AP Computer Science. He considers himself talkative in small groups, focused, and someone who likes to stick to a plan and get things done. Career-wise, he hopes to become an engineer and is also interested in business. He joined GCSA because he wants SAT support, access to scholarships, and opportunities that will help him prepare for college and his future.
