Meet your mentee, Camila.

Camila describes herself as nice, organized, and funny, and she brings a thoughtful, creative energy to everything she does. She grew up in Queens and speaks Spanish at home.

She loves anime, cartoons, and rom-coms, and in school she especially enjoys Global History, ELA, and art. This year is her first time getting involved in extracurriculars, and she’s excited to explore new activities. Outside the classroom, she likes reading, skateboarding, playing video games, taking walks, and spending time outdoors with friends. Camila is interested in working in fashion one day—possibly as a wardrobe stylist—and she enjoyed designing outfits for dolls even when it was challenging. She is detail-oriented, organized, and someone who likes working with her hands, dreaming big, and building relationships with others. College is very important to her and her family, and she’s looking for long-term support as she explores her goals.

There are many natural connections between you and Camila. You both love anime, cartoons, reading, and creative projects, and you share a curiosity about storytelling and new ideas.

Camila appreciates patience, structure, and clear steps, and your detail-oriented, supportive approach aligns closely with what she’s looking for in a mentor. She’s excited to learn from your experiences in school, publishing, and creative work as she discovers new activities, builds her resume, and explores possible paths in fashion or other artistic fields.
