Meet your mentor, Eli.

Eli is an entrepreneur with a background in economics. He grew up in Massachusetts and earned his degree in Economics from Cornell University. In his most recent job, Eli worked at FanDuel, where he led complex projects that required working with a lot of people to achieve shared goals. His work blends analytical thinking, creativity, and attention to detail. Outside of work, Eli enjoys staying active through sports like soccer, football, hockey, and golf, as well as playing video games, reading, writing, watching movies and TV, and spending time with friends and family.

As a mentor, Eli is known for being patient, thoughtful, and steady under pressure. He believes in understanding problems deeply before jumping to solutions. This mentoring style aligns well with your curiosity, love of asking questions, and interest in debating and thinking ahead—especially as you plan for college as a first-generation student. Eli’s creative approach to problem-solving and his experience navigating higher education and professional spaces can be a strong support as you work toward your academic goals, continue developing your leadership skills, and plan for a future in higher education and beyond.
