Meet your mentor, Erin.

Erin is a Manager at Penguin Random House, where she helps old books reach new readers.

She grew up in Arizona, started college at Arizona State University, and then transferred to SUNY Binghamton to get closer to her career goals. She studied English and loved exploring writing, literature, and creative projects. In college, Erin worked at a writing center, helped with prison education programs, and interned at a literary agency—experiences that shaped her love for mentoring and supporting others.

Outside of work, she enjoys basketball, soccer, reading, writing, Broadway musicals, and even a bit of TikTok.

You and Erin share a lot in common. You both love basketball and enjoy writing, especially expressing yourself through your own work. Erin understands what it’s like to figure out what comes next and to explore different paths for your future.
