Meet your mentor, Francisca.

Francisca manages the finances of large buildings in Midtown Manhattan—making sure money comes in on time, bills like rent and utilities get paid, and that reports are clear and accurate. She studied Psychology and Accounting at Mercy University, and her work today connects directly to what she studied. Francisca is from a Dominican family, speaks Spanish, and is passionate about giving back to her community and supporting young people. She enjoys concerts, shows, hiking, dancing, reading, cooking, working out, listening to music (especially Spanish genres), going to church, and volunteering. She’s detail-oriented, handles stress well, thinks ahead, and loves building relationships—skills she’s strengthened through school, work, and raising a family. As a returning GCSA mentor, she’s excited to bring her experience, patience, and creativity to another meaningful mentorship.

You and Francisca connect in some powerful and meaningful ways. You both speak Spanish, love music, enjoy being active, and care deeply about building relationships and creating a strong future for yourselves. You share a passion for being creative—whether through drawing, dancing, building, or exploring new interests—and you're both determined, independent thinkers who imagine big futures. Francisca is excited to support you as you explore business, architecture, or any career that lets you be hands-on and creative. She’s looking forward to helping you stay grounded, build confidence, navigate high school, and take advantage of the opportunities you joined GCSA for—community, growth, college access, and a brighter future.
