Meet your mentor, JD.

JD works at SL Green Real Estate Corps, is from Jersey, a first-generation college graduate from NJIT, and a mentor who cares deeply about giving back and supporting young people. He describes his work as being Sl Green's “digital bodyguard”—solving fast-paced problems and explaining how to stay safe in the cyber world. Outside of work, JD loves coaching volleyball, fixing or building things, spending time with family and friends, watching movies, diving into science and tech news, and staying active outdoors. He’s patient, flexible, calm under pressure, and someone who believes that careers grow from persistence, real-world experience, and creating opportunities for your own “luck.”

You and JD connect in some meaningful ways. You both love being talkative, energetic, and open about emotions, and you share a real passion for volleyball—you enjoy playing at school, and JD actually coaches the sport. You’re artistic, imaginative, and someone who likes to dream about the future, and JD is excited to support you as you explore big goals like real estate and any other paths you’re curious about.
