Meet your mentee, Juan.

Juan describes himself as kind, respectful, caring, and helpful. He enjoys watching TV and movies, with Prison Break as his favorite show and Bad Boys: Ride or Die as his favorite movie, and he is a fan of Club América. In school, Juan’s favorite class is Algebra, a subject he feels confident in. Outside the classroom, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing video games, going to the mall, and playing soccer with friends. He participated in chess club in middle school after learning to play with his dad. Juan is interested in graphic design and editing and enjoys creating logos and posters using his imagination, often sharing ideas with classmates. He joined GCSA because his mom thought it would be a good opportunity, and he hopes to have fun and get to know new people.

There are many natural connections between you and Juan. He is creative, thoughtful, and enjoys working with visual ideas, which aligns well with your background in media and production. Juan values mentors who are funny and talkative, and your easygoing, social approach can help him feel comfortable and supported. Your experience balancing creativity with structure can be a helpful guide as Juan continues exploring graphic design, editing, and creative work through GCSA.
