Meet your mentor, Mike.

Mike is a Senior Production Manager at Sony Pictures Television, where he helps bring an animated preschool series for Disney Jr. to life. He grew up on Long Island and studied Communications with a concentration in Media Studies at Marymount Manhattan College. In his job, Mike manages budgets, schedules, and workflows to keep creative projects running smoothly and on time—mixing organization with creativity every day. Outside of work, he loves TV shows like Only Murders in the Building, The Bear, and Wednesday, keeps up with pop culture, listens to pop and alternative music, and enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, and exploring new places.

As a mentor, Mike is easygoing, social, and genuinely loves working with students. His creative, detail-oriented mindset connects really well with your interest in graphic design, editing, and creating logos or posters. You both enjoy using imagination while still sticking to a plan, and Mike understands how important it is to balance creativity with structure—especially in media and design careers. With his experience in production, communication, and mentoring students through GCSA, Mike can be a great support as you explore creative career paths, build confidence in your skills, and have fun meeting new people along the way.
