Meet your mentee, Noah.
Noah describes himself as helpful, outgoing, and supportive. He grew up in the Bronx and loves sports — especially the New York Giants and New York Knicks. He plays basketball, bowls, and enjoys watching golf, which he started following over the summer. He also has experience in flag football, where he played on the defensive line and hopes to try running back in high school. In school, math has always come easily to him, and he enjoys Algebra, Health, Earth and Space Science, and Global. Outside the classroom, he likes playing video games, hanging out with his friends and brother, skateboarding, and going to the gym with his dad. He’s proud of how far he’s come with reading — from struggling in ELA when he was younger to now enjoying literature and comics. Noah is exploring future paths such as the Army, construction management, or architecture. He joined GCSA because he wants support socializing, preparing for college, and having a mentor who pushes him toward his goals.
There are several natural connections between you and Noah. You both enjoy sports, staying active, following the NBA and NFL, and pushing yourselves toward personal goals. Noah’s interest in building things and exploring construction or architecture aligns with your experience in real estate investments and understanding complex developments. He appreciates mentors who are encouraging, goal-oriented, and honest — qualities that match your competitive drive and commitment to helping young people better themselves. Your ability to think ahead, stay flexible, and embrace challenges will give Noah exactly the type of guidance and motivation he’s looking for as he grows academically, socially, and personally.
