Meet your mentee, Victoria.

Victoria describes herself as punctual, introverted, and kind. She enjoys watching shows like She-Ra: Princesses of Power, Arcane, Voltron, and Outer Banks, and she loves Disney, musicals, and music across pop, rock, and indie genres. In school, she finds science interesting and enjoys the challenge of chemistry. History is usually engaging for her, and ELA often feels manageable, though she’s sought out tutoring when classes haven’t been as supportive. Victoria stays involved outside the classroom: she’s in her second year of hip-hop and ballet through the 92Y dance program, participates in a STEM program at CCNY, and is part of gardening and theater clubs. In her free time, she enjoys reading, talking with friends, ice skating when she gets the chance, and resting. She sees herself as detail-oriented, emotionally open, and someone who holds herself to high standards. She joined GCSA to explore whether a future in medicine is right for her and to have support as she plans ahead.

There are many natural connections between you and Victoria. She values organization, structure, and accountability, which aligns with your calm, thoughtful approach. Victoria is interested in pursuing medicine and is looking for space to think through a demanding path, and your experience managing complex, high-pressure projects can offer steady guidance as she does so. While she may take a little time to open up, she is reflective, committed, and eager to learn, and will benefit from the support and consistency you bring as a mentor.
