For students who love to read—and dream of careers in storytelling—Penguin Random House offers something special: real-world insight into creative fields, books to fuel their passion, and access to professionals who take the time to help with everything from essays to resumes.
“ I have been delighted and impressed with Frances’ curious mind and love of learning since we first met two years ago. I am also very proud of her academic and extracurricular achievements, and emotional growth. Go, Frances!”
Xanthe Jansen, Senior Marketing Production Manager

Penguin Random House creates experiences that connect GCSA students’ passions to real-world possibilities. This year, students took part in a Job Shadowing Day where they met an author and engaged in a hands-on publishing workshop. And through their beloved Memoir Workshop series, students have imagined and designed book covers for memoirs of people they admire—combining storytelling, reflection, and creativity in unforgettable ways.
